So, the Public Security Application is now in the Android Market. This initial version is an early alpha public preview, so there are lots of features to implement and bugs to solve.
In the current phase, the application is able to connect to the main server and to communicate its status and GPS position, and also to receive push notifications and to upload pictures taken with the phone's camera.
The development was done on a HTC Desire phone, running Android version 2.1.
Expect to improve the application in the future builds.
